Overview


NILO alloy 42 (UNS K94100/W. Nr. 1.3917), a binary nickel-iron alloy containing 42% nickel. It has a low, and nominally constant, coefficient of expansion over the range 20-300°C (85-570°F). It is used for tooling for aerospace composites, thermostat rods, for semiconductor lead frames, in thermostatic bi-metal strip, and for glass sealing applications in microelectronic components, vacuum devices and electric lamp bulbs.

Corrosion Resistance


NILO alloy 42 has excellent corrosion resistance. It is a nickel-based superalloy with excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature strength.

It is important to note that although Alloy 42 has good corrosion resistance, corrosion is still possible when exposed to highly corrosive media or environments. Therefore, in the process of use, it is necessary to take corresponding protective measures according to the specific application environment and use conditions, such as surface coating, passivation treatment, etc., to enhance its corrosion resistance.



Thermal Treatments


Where maximum dimensional stability is required the alloys should be used in the annealed condition. Annealing can be carried out in the range 850°-1000°C (1560-1830°F) in a protective atmosphere.

Q1. What is your terms of Packing?

A: Generally we pack your goods with Neutral English bag, PP Woven bag with PE inner bag. If you have your own legally registered sack design, we can pack your goods with your brand and design bags after getting your authorization letter.

Q2. What is your terms of payment?

A: Normally 30% TT as deposit in advance, and 70% TT after email the copy of BL. Or LC at sight. We'll show you the photos pf your goods and package before you arrange the payment.

Q3. What is your terms of delivery?

A: Normally we do FOB, CFR, CIF terms.

Q4. How about your delivery date?

A: Normally it will takes 10~15 days after receive the deposit. The specific delivery time depends on the items and the quantity of the order.

Q5. Can you produce according to the sample?

A: Yes, we can produce by your samples or the specification you provide.
